Who Is A Good Person?

-John Hugh & Linda

We are continuing our YouTube series “Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People”?   If you missed Part One, we address the question of bad things happening to anyone.  We explore why God never makes promises He cannot keep.

For Part Two, we are looking at “Who Is A Good Person?”   In the current American political climate, this seems timely.  Our airwaves are filled with ideological and partisan viewpoints ready to point warring words at each other.  How do we define goodness in a person?  What makes people do good deeds?

We hope this devotion is helpful and thought provoking.    We recommend other resources connected to this devotion.  For anyone, a Christian or non-Christian,  we recommend Tim Keller’s The Prodigal God.   If you are a Christian, we suggest you dig deeper into the basics of our faith with this handout.

Above all, this is a quick, simple devotion to get your heart engaged and your mind thinking about your everyday life.  Are you struggling with how to handle bad things in your life?  Do you feel inadequate or feel others are not good people?  Click below to hear our encouragement for you today.
